Michael Lynn Elliott

Michael Lynn Elliott, 79 formerly of Cedar Park passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. He was born on December 14,1945 to Carlyn and Doss Elliott. He was born and raised in Florence, Texas. He graduated from Florence High School, then joined the US Navy. His time in the service was spent aboard several aircraft carriers. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Shirley Hammack Elliott, his son Bret Elliott and his wife Susan, and daughter Stefanie Elliott Nix and her husband Carl. He was known as "Boca" to his grandchildren: Ty Elliott, Amber Vaughn, her husband Tyler, Jenna Elliott, Clay Elliott, Kourtney Jordan, Colton Jordan and his wife Brianna, and Baylor Nix.
Great-grandchildren: Blayke and Carsyn Vaughn and Tucker Lynn Jordan.
He is also survived by brother Patrick Elliott, his wife Debi and brother-in-law Gary Hammack, his wife Annette and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was a kind, gentle soul with a very loving heart. He was always seeking knowledge, mildly sarcastic and kept his family entertained with his not-so-subtle sighs and sense of humor. His grandkids referred to his quick wit as "Bocaisms" He will be truly missed.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
