Michael A. Evans

Michael A. "Mike" Evans, 62, of Evansville, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at the Heart to Heart Hospice House surrounded by his family. Mike was born on March 18, 1963, in Evansville to Mary Louise (McReynolds) Evans Grace and the late William Joseph Evans. He was an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing golf. He was a member of the Westside Sportmen's Club and was quite the handyman. Surviving Mike are his wife of 34 years, Linda (Demarest) Evans; sons, Shane Evans and Craig Behnke; his mother, Mary Louise (McReynolds) Grace; sisters, Debbie (Kevin) Johnson and Cheryl (Scott) Fairfield; a brother, Chuck (Susie) Evans and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, Mike was preceded in death by his stepfather who helped raise him, Loren Grace. There will be a celebration of Mike's life held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 2:00 until 5:00 PM at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street.
