Michael D. Ferdig

Michael D. Ferdig, age 69, passed away on February 6, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and cherished memories.
A devoted lifelong partner to Linda Spaccarotelli, Mike was the beloved son of Eugene (Carrole) Ferdig and the late Shelby Allemon. He was a loving stepfather to Carlo (the late Trish) Spaccarotelli and the late Jasen Spaccarotelli, and a proud grandfather to Talia and Antonio Spaccarotelli. He was a dear brother to Linda DeCorte and Jeffrey (Kristine) Ferdig, and a caring stepbrother to Rick and Jenny. Mike was also a cherished uncle to Amber DeCorte, Anthony (Cisne) Ferdig, and Ashley (Kyle) Osborne, and an adored great-uncle to Carter, Cash, and Weston Osborne. He leaves behind many amazing friends who will forever hold his memory close.
An avid fisherman, Mike found peace and joy on the waters of Lake St. Clair. He was a true sportsman with a heart of gold, always willing to lend a helping hand. His generosity and kind spirit touched the lives of many. After a dedicated career as a lineman, he retired from AT&T, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and camaraderie.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial visitation on Monday, February 17, 2025, from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM, with a sharing of memories service at 6:30 PM, at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 E. Fifteen Mile, Sterling Heights, Michigan.
Mike will be deeply missed, but his warmth, laughter, and love will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
