Michael Philip Flanagan, 59, of Canton, Ohio, passed away November 12, 2025.Born in Massillon in 1966, Mike was the beloved son of Philip Flanagan (now deceased) and Julie Geltz (Robert Geltz). He graduated from Jackson Memorial High School in 1984 and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from Miami University. Mike dedicated most of his career to managing his family business, State Termite and Pest Solutions, where he was admired for his hard work, reliability and commitment to serving his community. He will be remembered as a caring and sentimental person whose warmth touched everyone around him. His kindness and devotion to family were constants throughout his life. Mike is survived by his sister, Michelle Cleveland, her husband Dan Cleveland, and their son Cameron Cleveland, as well as his mother Julie and stepfather Robert. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends who cherished him deeply. In accordance with his family’s wishes, there will not be a funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a suicide prevention organization in his honor.
