In Loving Memory of Michael Alan Fleenor
1985 - 2025
Michael Alan Fleenor, 39, of Salem, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly July 22, 2025.
Michael was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a loyal friend whose greatest joy in life was his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Angela Fleenor, and her daughter, Lila, who was the light of his life. His love for his family was deep, fierce, and unwavering-he lived every day to bring them joy, laughter, and lasting memories.
Michael took great pride in his career as a corrections officer with the Clark County Sheriff's Department, where he served with honor, integrity, and compassion. His work was more than just a job-it was a reflection of his strong sense of duty and dedication to helping others.
He was known for his love of sports, especially cheering on the Indiana Pacers and the Cincinnati Reds. He never missed a chance to catch a game, celebrate a win, or playfully argue a call.
Michael's sense of humor and playful nature made him unforgettable. He was always the first to dress up in a Michael Myers mask just to chase Lila and her friends around the yard, laughing along with them every step of the way. He loved the outdoors, and was always up for an adventure-camping, hiking, or just spending time in nature. With Michael, even the simplest moments were full of life and fun.
He is also survived by his mother, Donna Carter (Mike); his father, Steven Fleenor (Ann); his brother, David (Ann); his sister, Ashley; his grandfather, Darrel and his grandmother, Norma and his cherished nephews: George and Theodore, Maddox, and Huxley, Holston, and Hagan. Michael was deeply proud of his role as an uncle, and he adored every one of them.
A visitation will be held on July 28, 2025 from 10:00a.m until 1:00p.m with the service at 1:00p.m at Weathers Funeral Home. All who knew and loved Michael are welcome to attend and share in honoring his memory.
Though he may be gone from our sight, Michael's love, laughter, and the joy he brought to everyone around him will live on forever in our hearts.
