Michael J. Flood, 75, of Fond du Lac, died Saturday, September 27, 2025 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born August 28, 1950 in Hustisford, WI, the son of Raymond and Faye (Gross) Flood. Michael served in the U.S. Army from 1970 – 1973.
On July 28, 2004 he married Patricia A. (Burdick) Schroeder. He worked for Flood Mobile Homes until his retirement in 2012. Michael enjoyed fishing, vanning, spending time at their home up north, and loved being with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; daughter, Tina Flood; two grandchildren, Emeral Belongia and David Lee Belongia; three great grandchildren, Diamond, Kole, and Amethyst; step daughter, Kimberly (Mark) Barlow and their son, Ender; step daughter, Christian (Jason) Gomoll and children, Ashdon, Amanda (Alex), and Braelynn; two step great grandchildren, Lainie and Maddox. He is further survived by his brother, Mark Flood; his sister, Raye Marie (Joseph) Steffes; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; step son, Kyle Schroeder; and a special aunt, Ruthie Dreher.
The visitation will be held Tuesday, October 7, 2025 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The memorial service will follow at 7:00 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place and private inurnment with military honors will be held at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park.
