Mike was always kind and welcoming. I lived close to Mike growing up, and his sister, Becky, was in my grade. They were only a year apart, so it seemed like they were always together. We need more people like Mike to make life a little brighter and easier. I'm grateful for his wonderful example, even when we were young.

I will always remember Mike greeting me with a smile, and genuine friendship. I never heard him complain or speak ill of anyone. He always was happy and I enjoyed serving with him on many church, scout, young men, and neighborhood projects. Heaven got one of the best! Condolences and prayers Anne to you and your family. I will always be grateful for the example he was to me. He was so kind and faithful. I will always love and miss Mike, but know we will see each other and continue our friendship again someday.

Dear Anne and Family, Please accept my deepest sympathy for all of you in the loss of your dear husband and father. He was much too young to leave you. I know you will be helped immensely by your knowledge that he is in a wonderful place. I know Heavenly Father will bless each of you with peace and comfort as you rely on your faith in Him and His love for you. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Pat Lake

I was involved with Mike in the WEAU. I served with him for several years when both of us were in leadership positions. He was always involved in setting up the famous Jeopardy game and he helped me when I took over his role as secretary to set up all the elections for the WEAU, we shared a love of scouting, we shared a passion for our industry, he will greatly be missed.

I did some projects with Mike while he was at the Sewer District. He was always helpful and great to work with! Glad to have known him
