Survivors include his sister, Mary Jo Hebert and nephews, David Hebert and his wife, Diane and Kyle Hebert and his wife, Stephanie, all of Fannett; nieces, Amy Shadden and her husband, Jerry, of Winnie and Dana Armstrong and her husband, Howard, of Cypress; several great-nieces and nephews; and aunt, Sister Mary Benignus of the Dominican Order in Houston.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Texas Children's Hospital, Office of Philanthropy, Suite 6226, P.O. Box 300630, Houston, Texas 77230-0630.
A family graveside service was held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
