Seminole resident, Michael Wayne Gatzke, 50, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2024, in Seminole.
Michael, the son of Robert and Jakki (Bottoms) Gatzke, was born August 25, 1974, in Seminole. He graduated from Strother High School, with the class of 1993. Michael was a mechanic at Joe Cooper Ford for years, before going to work in information technology, he did IT work for several casinos around the state for many years. In his spare time, Michael had a deep interest in computers that extended beyond his career, and he enjoyed shooting guns, but nothing was as important to him as time spent with his children, frequently that time was spent playing video games.
Michael is survived by his son, Andrew Michael Gatzke, of Ada; daughters, Abigail Denise Gatzke and Amarie Katherine Gatzke, both of Ada; his parents, Robert and Jakki Gatzke, of Seminole; and his brother, Russell Gatzke, of Seminole.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Cremation services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
