Michael Genevie Obituary

Michael Christopher Genevie, 44, of Marlton, New Jersey, passed away on September 30th, 2025, in his home, after a courageous battle against cancer.

Mike was born at home in Levittown, Pennsylvania, on May 26th, 1981 under a poster of Darth Vader, foreshadowing a lifelong love for Star Wars that became part of his identity.

He loved playing video games, cheering on the Phillies and Eagles, family poker games, and he was an accomplished pool player. His sense of humor and quick wit was matched only by the care that he put into everything he did, whether it be giving gifts or putting together a Halloween costume.

Mike is survived by the two greatest loves of his life, his wife Steph and their daughter Lily. Mike loved being a dad to his beautiful daughter. He was proud of the family and home that he and Steph created together. Mike loved the time they spent traveling, tackling a DIY home project, watching Phillies and Eagles, and their dog, Rosie.

He is survived by his parents, Jim and Judy, of Levittown, PA; his brothers Jim (Melissa), Bob (Meghan), and Tom (Jamie); his brother- and sister-in-laws Nick (Sarra), Arielle (Dan), and Zack; and his nieces and nephews Ryan, Luke, Evelyn, Emmett, Virginia, Cecilia, Amelia, Luca, Roman, and Elena.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Bradley Funeral Home in Marlton, NJ, on Saturday, October 4, 2025. Visitation will take place from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., followed by remarks from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to continue the celebration at a luncheon immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mike to this GoFundMe to support his daughter's education: https://www.gofundme.com/f/michael-genevie.
