Woodland-Michael A. Gilliam 68, died July 6, 2025 at Portland. He was born in Bath, September 26, 1956 the son of the late Robert and Roberta (Doughty) Gilliam. Michael married Cheryl Tarbox Nov. 26, 1976. He was employed for many years by several area potato growers including Carroll Anderson as well as Moir Farms. Surviving in addition to his wife of Woodland are his children; Bobby-Joe Gilliam Drake and Frances Marie Gilliam Luciano both of Presque Isle and Travis Gilliam of Woodland. Two brothers, Leonard Gilliam of Caribou and Robert Gilliam of Bath. Four sisters; Paula Sherman of Washburn, Harriett Brown of Woodland, Sandra Skidgel of Wade and Brenda Hallowell of Perham. Four grandchildren; Cooper, Nylah, Brady and Braelynne, and one great grandson Michael. Several nieces and nephews. Mr. Gilliam was predeceased by his parents, his step father Earl Sherman and siblings Cindy Brown, Willis Gilliam, Cecil Gilliam and Nelson Gilliam. Family services will be held at a later date.
