Michael "Mike" Givens

Michael Ray "Mike" Givens, 59 of Dacula, GA passed away November 18, 2022. Mike is preceded in death by his father, Dorsey Givens, and his brother, Mitch Givens. He is survived by wife, Kelly Givens; mother, Louise Givens; sons, Dennis and Trey Givens, Darryl Howery, and Cameron Myers; daughters, Tayler and Morgan Givens, and Kristen Howery; grandchildren, Brayden, Kaydence, Gabe, Marin, Paris, Charlotte, Zoey, Mackenzie, Evie, Everly, and Alexandra; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Mike, also known as "Cowboy", was a proud truck driver who considered everyone at Norton Transport in Von Ormy, Texas his family.
Mike never met a stranger, loved people, had the kindest blue eyes, and would give you the shirt off his back. He had the ability to fix and build any project to perfection. A recent transplant to Texas, he loved Mexican cuisine and his cowboy hat. However, while in Texas, Mike never forgot his Georgian roots, and he loved to watch the Georgia Bulldogs and spend time with his family, especially his beloved Mama. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, November 26, 2022, in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 300 Simonton Road, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30045. 770-962-3100.
