Michael Godfrey Obituary
He was born on May 1, 1959 in Savannah, Georgia to Mr. Olin Lee Godfrey and Mrs. Susan Duncan. He worked as a long-haul truck driver for Estes Trucking. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Danny Durden, and Greg Durden.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Godfrey; son, Michael Lee Godfrey, Jr. (Amber); daughter, Kayla Nichole Godfrey (Jeremy Benson); daughter, Miranda Ruth Jatindranath (Stefan); grandchildren, Logan Scott Ball, Preston Taylor Ingram, Jaden Michael Godfrey, Leon Elias Jatindranath, Josiah Haddon Jatindranath; step-mother, Lucy Godfrey; brother, Doug Durden (Chasone), Bobby Joe Duncan, Richard Duncan, Johnny Godfrey (Amber), Randy Godfrey, Terri Carey (Chris); step-brother, Steve Thompson (Lisa); step-sister, Karrie Morgan (Ken); step-brother, Harold Thompson; nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services for Mr. Michael Lee Godfrey, Sr. will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 2 P.M. at Highland Community Church at 36 Coach Bobby Dodd Road Dallas, Georgia.
In lieu of flowers, donations to be made to Highland Community Church.
