Michael Wayne Hadnot

Michael Wayne Hadnot, 74, of Kountze, Texas passed away on Monday, July 29, 2024.
Michael Wayne Hadnot was born in Many, Louisiana November 1, 1949, to the late Clinton Hadnot and Eula Mae Hadnot. Michael attended Kirby High School inWoodville Texas. Michael later moved to Kountze where he met and married his wife Elizabeth Hadnot of 51 years. He worked for Paperboard Core in Kountze, Kirby Lumber Company in Silsbee, and Primoris Services in Nederland. Michael accepted Christ at an early age and later in life became a faithful member of Mt. Corinth Missionary Baptist Church where he served as an usher until his health declined. Michael helped form the Rough Riders Trail Ride Group and was also a member of the Big Thicket Old and Young Trail Ride Association. Michael enjoyed riding horses, zydeco dancing, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents as well as his son, Michael Clinton Hadnot and his grandson, Devontray Hadnot. Also his sisters, Maggie Mitchell, Shirley Ann Hadnot Allen, and brother, Clinton Boykin Hadnot.
Left to cherish his memories in God's care - wife, Elizabeth Hadnot, daughters, Kim Haynes (Andre) of Kountze, Texas, Tessandra McDaniel of Beaumont, Texas, son, Brad Hadnot (Jesi) of Humble, Texas. Sisters, Annie Ruth Maloy (Willie) of Hillister, Texas, Connie Foster of Hillister, Texas, Dorothy Dean of Beaumont, Texas, Cynthia Morgan of Houston, Texas, and brother, Turrence Harris of Woodville, Texas. He also leaves to cherish 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
