Curtis Allen Thrower

Curtis Allen Thrower, 66, of Silsbee, Texas passed away Saturday January 17, 2026.

Curtis Allen Thrower Sr, of Beaumont, Tx was Born October 28,1959 in Woodville,Texas to Bobbie Jean Thrower and Travis Allen Siggers. Curtis was raised and attended school during his early childhood life In Woodville, Tx until 8th grade. Later, moving to Silsbee, Tx where he attended Silsbee High School, finishing as a graduate of the class of 1979.

After graduating High School, Curtis, enlisted into the United States Army. Throughout his military career, He served as an Infrantry man, until becoming a disabled veteran, separating with HONORABLE Discharge. He lived a life of service, courage, and honor.

Curtis was known for his loyalty, sacrifice, love, and infectious sense of humor. He filled every room with jokes and laughter whether in person or by phone calls. He valued time with those close to him and appreciated life's simple moments with Holiday and family gatherings being his favorite. He will be remembered by family and friends through stories , his brave character, and gratitude of those who knew him. Curtis, was loved immensely.

Curtis, transitioned from his earthly home January 17, 2026. He leaves behind many loved ones who will continue to cherish his memory.

He is survived by his 3 children Sons Corey Lacy, of Center, Tx; Curtis Allen Thrower Jr (Bridgette Moore) of Sachse,Tx; Daughter Tanekia Thrower of Dallas, Tx. 11 grandchildren and 2 Great-grandchildren.

7 Siblings; Mable Roberson (Cory); Donald Edmond (Maggie); Latonya Siggers; Richard Smith (Shalonda); Marcus Allen Maze; Charlene Nash; and Sophia Teel

Curtis had a host of special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins with whom he had close relationships with.

Curtis is preceded in death by his Parents, (Daughter) Bridget Jean Garrett, (Brother) Roy Allen Siggers and (Sister) Debra Siggers Sullivan.
