Darrell James Thrower "Doc"/"DJ", was born on April 30, 1977 in Woodville, Texas, to Samuel Thrower and Glenda Smith. He was raised in Woodville, Texas. Doc attended Woodville High School where he graduated. He then furthered his education at ITT Tech in Houston, Texas. He resided in Spring, Texas after graduating college in 1997. He worked at Canrig for 20+ years, then he ventured on to entrepreneurship running his own business, TandDTransportation. After that he went to work at Current Power until his health declined. He loved watching his sports teams The Lakers, 49ers, and New York Yankees. He liked playing and talking with his grandkids that was a highlight of his day. You could always catch him dancing and singing along to music. He really enjoyed hanging with family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Stefanie Danielle Thrower.
He leaves to cherish his memories Daughters; Tierra Thrower(Christian) and Tatiana Thrower of Spring, TX. Grandchildren; Armiah Jones, A'Rayaah Jones, Avyaan Jones, and Ahmad Jones of Spring, TX. His Mother; Glenda Smith (Stephon), of Woodville, TX. Father;Samuel Thrower (Josephine) Of Woodville, TX. Sister; KIKi Lewis (James) of Woodville, TX. Sister; Sabrina Higgins (Russell) of Woodville, TX. Nephews; Jaylin Kibble and Julius Thrower of Woodville, TX. A host of cousins, family, and friends.
