Michael Ellis Hall passed on to the cowboy Heaven he always dreamed of on 5/1/2024. Michael was born on 9/7/1963 in Daytona Beach, FL. Michael was a graduate of Spruce Creek High School and an Air Force Veteran. He was a lead technician for Cardinal Healthcare in DeLand, FL. His passion in life was the old west. He was an old soul and enjoyed fishing, camping, working on old square body pickup trucks, and seeking out Bigfoot. He was a die hard Miami Dolphins fan and enjoyed the music of classic country. He passed on the love of his pastimes in his four kids and only grandson. His sense of humor was unmatched and he didn't pass up an opportunity to make someone laugh either by a jovial roast or a corny dad joke. If there was someone that needed help or a task to be done around the house, Michael would be there. He was a perfectionist with everything he worked on. Michael will forever be in our hearts and we know he is flying high in the wild wonders of Heaven.
Michael is survived by his wife of 40 years, Penny Hall (Wilcox), his four children, Amy Hall (Spouse Andrew Lloyd), Chad Hall, Megan Hall and William Hall, his grandson Aidan Remington, his parents Ellis Hall and Diane Margaret Hall (NC), his mother-in-law Barbara Loverin (Mims), his sister Susie Hall (NC) and his beloved dog Bailey. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Marvin Benjamin (Ben) Friday and Colleen Elizabeth Friday, Iota and Georgia Hall (Wright), respectfully.
A celebration of life will be held at Cracker Creek in Port Orange, FL on 6/8/2024 from 11 am to 3 pm. Those attending are asked to bring a dish for a pot luck style lunch. Donations can be made to a GoFundMe for the purposes of his after life wishes. Michael wanted to have his ashes spread out west via horseback. His family will be working hard to make that happen in the future and will be accepting donations to facilitate that event.
