It is with the deepest of broken heart that we share with you that our Michael Harris, 29, died Sunday, August 10, 2025, at Heywood Hospital in Gardner, after an accident.
Michael was born in Worcester on February 27, 1996, along with his twin brother, Steven. He was a son of Matthew and Cathy (LaBelle) Harris. He also leaves behind his twin, Steven Harris, his brother, Andrew Harris, and his partner Heather, his sister, Madison Harris and her partner Thomas; one nephew, Parker Harris; His maternal grandmother, Yolanda "Sue" (Renda) LaBelle; His girlfriend, Rebecca Racine; two uncles, Timothy LaBelle and his partner, Emilee, Tim Harris and wife Michelle and one aunt, Elizabeth "Betsy" LaBelle; partner Karen Colten two great-uncles, and five great-aunts. Thomas LaBelle and his wife, Pauline, Darren "Poochie" LaBelle and his wife Melissa, Emile Granata and her partner, Dante, Marlene Goodwin and her partner Tom, Tammy LaBelle, Cousins Christopher Harris and partner Jordin Lee, Collin Harris and wife Nicole, Carter Harris and wife Lauren, Jaxon, Connor and Tess.
He is predeceased by his grandfather, Peter A. LaBelle, Jr who loved his grandchildren more then anything. Also, Teresa and Leslie Harris.
Michael graduated from Fitchburg State University with a double major in IT and Business. He was an IT system administrator for DCS Corporation. He was a very talented man; he played the drums and loved being part of the Leominster High School Band. A man of many talents, he fixed and sold all sorts of different items, from lawn mowers to computers. He was a metal enthusiast, collecting and selling scrap metal. He was a jack of all trades. He could fix anything and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was a VW fanatic and loved his dog Onyx, two cats, and his chickens.
Michael's family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to his nephew's scholarship fund, Parker Harris Scholarship Fund, C/O DCU 350 John Fitch Highway, Fitchburg, MA 01420.
Calling Hours will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025 from 4:00-7:00PM at Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg, MA.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 10:00AM at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 1400 Main St., Leominster, MA.
The Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, 357 Main St., Leominster, MA.
