Michael Louis Helton

Michael Louis Helton at the age of 67 was welcomed into heaven on October 22nd, 2025.
He was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, September 20th, 1958 to Junior Louis Helton and Maxine Grace (Wright) Helton. Michael enjoyed the farm and outdoor activities, riding his favorite Pony, Buddy, and watching evangelical television.
Michael spent his life as a loyal son, kind brother, and loving uncle. He left this world after a noble fight with Parkinson's and cancer. We look back and cherish the laughs he gave siblings, the care he gave to his mother in her older years, and the time he spent taking care of his nephews and niece.
Michael graduated from Putnam City West High School in 1977. He worked for Gulfstream at Wiley Post airport then worked 32 years for Safeway and Homeland as Head Courtesy Clerk. Mike accepted Jesus as his Savior and Lord as a child and was a member of West 10th Street Baptist Church/Council Road Baptist. He loved his family dearly

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Junior Louis Helton; grandparents, Bill and Essie Helton and Howard and Irma Mae Wright. He is survived by his mother, Maxine Helton; brothers, Gregory Helton and wife Teresa, Douglas Helton and wife Dianna; nephews, Caleb and wife Autumn, Dakota and wife Bailey, and Marcus and wife Kaylin; niece, Cheyenne and husband David; and two great-nieces and one great-nephew.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at Mercer-Adams Chapel with viewing prior to the service. Interment will follow in Bethany Cemetery.
