Pres was born in Abilene, Texas on June 17, 1980. He graduated from Hallsville High School in 1998. After he played soccer at Hardin Simmons University, he completed both his bachelor's and master's degrees from Sam Houston State University. Pres' teaching and coaching careers took place in Huntsville, Willis, and Kingwood for a total of 19.5 years.
Pres achieved winning results with his own gentle coaching style. During his years of coaching, his teams often achieved the title of Bi-District/District Campions advancing to multiple rounds of the playoffs. While in college Pres met his wife, Jenny, at the Huntsville Church of Christ. They were married on July 26, 2003 and had an amazing life together. He was a devoted father to Kyle and Carter and taught by example. Some of the family's favorite activities included camping, traveling, fishing and all things sports. Pres had a strong faith and served others through his profession as well as preschool, elementary, and youth ministries. He had a passion for leading his family in ways that pleased the Lord.
