Michael John Joseph Holfeltz, 69, of Sheboygan, passed away on June 18, 2024, after battling a rare illness. Mike was born in October 21,1954 to Edsel and Rosemary Holfeltz in Manitowoc, WI.
After Mike graduated from North High school in 1973, he worked at Kohler Company for 10 years.
In 1980, Mike married Linda Van Dyke in Sheboygan and went on to have 4 children, Kyle (Athena) Holfeltz, Lori (David) Fischer, Jenni Holfeltz, Cody (Jackie) Holfeltz.
After leaving Kohler Mike and Linda bought Journey’s End tavern where they met many lifelong friends. Mike loved to have a good conversation and hear their stories. Along with the tavern they also owned rental properties. After they sold the tavern Mike was the head of maintenance at Comfort Suits until he retired.
Mike enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and the many friends, memories, and adventures that he had on it. He had a passion for the outdoors which included fishing, boating, snorkeling, and camping. Mike loved spending time with his family.
He is further survived by his son Bryan Frank; 7 grandchildren and sister Donna Doyle.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Edsel and Rosemary Holfeltz, brothers Gerald “Jerry” and Thomas “Tom” Holfeltz, sister Debra “Deb” Linder.
A Celebration of life to be held at Shelter Lagoon 4; 101 Western Ave. Sheboygan Falls, WI on 7/20/2024 at 1pm.
