Michael Jacoby was born on June 11, 1988, in West Palm Beach, Florida, and was carried on heavenly wings to meet our Lord on August 3, 2025. He grew up in Vero Beach, Florida and attended Dodgertown Elementary, Gifford Middle School, and was a graduate of Vero Beach High School in 2010. He was a devoted son, brother, and uncle who loved his family deeply. He was active in the ARC, where he enjoyed cooking and gardening. He spent time with friends at the ARC helping in directing the choir and making oyster mats. When he wasn't at the ARC, you could find him on the sidelines of St. Ed's Football Team helping to coach football during the fall seasons of 2010-2017. He was well versed in the offensive play calling signals and made sure the team was focused and ready. Michael was a doting uncle and loved spending quality time with his nieces. He enjoyed playing games, swimming in the pool, and watching TV with both his nieces. He helped to cultivate a love of football in his nieces and shared his love for the Florida State University football program. He would watch "his boys" play every Saturday. He loved reading his novels with his dad. He would holler, "Story Time", and his two faithful dogs would jump on the sofa as dad read aloud. Michael and his mom spent their days together, doing household chores, enjoying a peanut butter sandwich for lunch, and often times, watching soap operas. His "brothers", Husker and Chief, were his loving buddies. He also enjoyed many family adventures over the years. Trips to Aspen, where he learned to ski. Boat trips to the Bahamas and the Keys. Many visits to Sea World and going to his team's football games, including an annual trip to the Gator Bowl filled his life with joy. Michael is survived by his mother, Mary Jacoby; his father, Kip Jacoby; his sister, Megan Stranzin; brother-in-law, Samuel Stranzin and their two daughters, Kacey and Rylie. His sense of humor and his belly laughs were contagious, and his tender heart will live on in everyone he touched. Michael's life impacted so many people, leaving the footprints of his love on all of our hearts. He was a sweet, beautiful boy who will be missed until we meet again. In lieu of flowers, please honor Michael's memory by making a donation in his name to the ARC of Indian River County, 1375 16th Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32960 or https://www.arcir.org/donate.html
