Michael Allen (Mike) Janssen of Stuart, FL passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, August 17, 2024, while under the care of Treasure Coast Hospice..
Born in Chicago Heights, Illinois January 18, 1967. He moved to Martin County in 1982. Where he met and married his wife, Rhonda Kay Janssen in 1988. Together they raised three children, Michael, Shane and Alyssa.
Prior to retiring, he served his community as firefighter/paramedic for Martin County Fire Rescue. During and after retirement Mike also started his family- owned remodeling business with his two sons.
He had many hobbies and joys in life. He loved golfing on Sundays with his friends. He had a great passion and talent for writing music, playing guitar and singing. He was a master carpenter with tremendous woodworking skills. Mike was never afraid to get his hands dirty and could fix anything. He also had a great love for his pets, especially his dachshund's June and Tank.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 36 years. Rhonda Kay Janssen, His children Michael Allen (Sophia), Shane Mathew (Skyler) and Alyssa Denae Janssen, His Mother, Wanda Louise Janssen. His sister-in law, Kerry Janssen and niece, Kelsie Janssen.
Mike was preceded in death by his father William Allen Janssen and his brother Jeffrey William Janssen.
