Michael Dwaine Jarrell, 69, passed away on February 3, 2026. Born on October 31, 1956, in Kinwah Valley, West Virginia, to the late Rudolph Jackson Jarrell Sr. and Dorothy Jarrell. Preceded in death by his son Aaron Jarrell, Michael is survived by his wife of 20 years, Tammy Jarrell, sons Shawn Jarrell, Christopher Carter, brothers Marshall Jarrell (Terri) and Jack Jarrell (Misty), and sisters Barbara Dicky (Jeff) and Beverly Vaughan (Bobby). He is also survived by grandchildren Brayden Jarrell and Hailey Jarrell, whom he adored, as well as his beloved cat Rusty. Mike cherished his annual beach trips with family and enjoyed spending time with loved ones. The family would like to give thanks to Atonio Tabon for caring for Mike in the last months of his life. A memorial service will be arranged at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Mike's name to a charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.
