Born in North Bangor, NY, he was the son of the late Edward and Viola DeCarr Jarvis.
Mr. Jarvis was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three daughters, Ann Bouvia and husband, Douglas, Cheryl Recore and husband, Steven, and Brenda Sandlin and husband, Dale; one son, Michael J. Jarvis, Jr.; ten grandchildren, Jessica Edwards, Allison Bouvia, Meghann Allison, Zachary Sandlin, Kaitlyn Jarvis, Emilee Jarvis, Jenna Recore, Kathleen Recore, Courtney Recore, Ryan Recore; seven great-grandchildren, Jackson Lyons, Delano Sandlin, Elizabeth Sandlin, Hannah Edwards, Jackson Coates, Ethan Coates, and Kelan Labarge; and a sister, Barbara Cherrier.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Richard Jarvis, Earl Jarvis, and Sonny Jarvis, Tommy Jarvis; and three sisters, Elizabeth Dora, Doreen Jarvis, Joan Griffin.
A Visitation will be held Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 4:30 p.m. until 5:45 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Southeast followed by the Funeral Service at 6:00 p.m.
