Michael Ralph Jones

North Augusta, SC- Graveside Services for Michael Ralph Jones, 57, who entered into rest January 21, 2026, will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Pineview Memorial Gardens. Pastor Travis Brown officiating. The family will receive friends at True North Church from Noon until 1 o'clock on Thursday, January 29, 2026.

Michael was born on May 8, 1968, in Augusta, GA to the late John Ralph and Betty B. Jones and was a lifelong resident of North Augusta, SC. He was a HVAC Service Manager and a member of True North Church. Michael loved animals and had a passion for wildlife conservation. He rehabilitated and released many animals back into the wild, especially squirrels and possums. Michael was known as the "Turtle Man" and would give educational presentations to the local schools about wildlife. He enjoyed spending time with his family, kayaking and photography. Michael will be known for his adventurous and caring spirit and will be missed by all who knew him.

Surviving members of the family left to cherish his memory include his wife, who would've celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary on April 20th; Chanda Jones; three children, Meagan Renee Jones, Brandon Jones and Crystal Jones; a sister, Carla (Don) Price and a niece, Rachel Fry.
