March 3, 1951 – March 4, 2026
Michael "J. Mike" Jones. Age 75 of Wyandotte.
Beloved husband of Jill Jones. Loving father of Jeannette Jones. Dear brother of Robert (Suzanne) Jones and Christine (Bruce) Venema. Also survived by mother in law, Elizabeth "Betty" Thomas and many nieces and nephews.
J. Mike was an active member of the community theater in Wyandotte, Southgate, Trenton and Huron Township. He enjoyed all aspects of the theater, participating in acting, set design, construction, lighting and directing.
Mike, along with his daughter Jeannette enjoyed taking nature walks; exploring and discovering different insects, spiders, and other creepy crawlers. Mike often pushed through his fears when encountering such things to ensure that Jeannette would not be afraid.
Memorial contributions are appreciated to Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit.
