Michael Keys Obituary

Published by Legacy on Nov. 1, 2025.
On October 27, 2025, Michael P. Keys was joyfully reunited with his beloved wife of forty-seven years, Sandra. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of John and Eleanor (McElwee) Keys.
Michael was a hardworking man who spent most of his life on the road, driving trucks for a living. Over the years, he worked for several companies, including Cumberland Farms-where he delivered milk-and later Gerlick Farms, where he finished his career. Some of his favorite memories were the times he got to take his girls along for the ride, showing them the world from behind the wheel of his truck.
He had a lifelong love of model trains, and he never turned down a good game of softball with his buddies. At the end of a long day, he enjoyed nothing more than relaxing at home with a cold beer, his dogs close by, and his family around him. His laughter, kindness, and big-hearted presence will be remembered always.
Michael is survived by his loving daughters, Mary Walzer (Brian) and Karen Ayars (Donald Jr.); his siblings, Donna Marie Mortka, John, Jim, and Tom Keys; and his four adored grandchildren, Branden, Nicholas, Kayla, and Bryce. He was predeceased by his parents and his wife, Sandra, who surely greeted him with open arms.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
