His Legacy Michael James Killinger, 89, passed away February 7, 2024. He was born on September 1, 1934, in Flint, Michigan to Charles Killinger and Blanche (Amy) Killinger. Michael married the love of his life, Barbara Jean Vogel, on September 2, 1952, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Michael worked for the city of Ann Arbor, performing many different tasks to keep the city running smoothly. He was a very dedicated and hard worker. Michael liked to work with his hands, after retirement he was always building or fixing something for a friend. He was a wonderful supporter to his family and very caring and giving. Michael was incredibly devoted to his wife, Barbara. He was dearly loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
His Family Michael will be missed by his wife, Barbara Killinger; his children, Barb (Mike) Ankenbrank, Chris (Gary) Chambers, Mike (Lynda) Killinger, Brenda (Tony) Holder; half-sister, Kathy Santia; grandchildren, Cheryl, Jenny, Danny, Gary, Crystal, Lynn (Jesse), Jeannie (Mark), Michael (Shianne); numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Blanche Killinger; granddaughters, Michelle and Tina; 3 sisters; and 1 brother.
