Michael "Mike" Kimberly, age 70 of Winchester, Ohio passed away peacefully at home Thursday, October 16, 2025. He was born May 18, 1955 in West Union, OH, the son of Kenneth and Helen (Whalen) Kimberly.
Mike was a 1973 graduate of Eastern High School. He was employed with General Electric for 33 years before retiring. In addition to his career at GE, Mike was involved in real estate, focusing on the rehabilitation and management of rental properties.
He had a lifelong love of the outdoors and enjoyed gardening, cooking, hunting and fishing. As an avid fisherman, Mike participated in numerous fishing tournaments over the years. He will be remembered for his love of family gatherings, cookouts, and the time he spent with his children and grandchildren. Mike especially enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sporting events and supporting them in all their activities.
Mike is survived by Julie Schaeffer; two daughters, Katie (Darin) Duncan and Jodi (Michael) Dabe; five grandchildren, Alissa Duncan, Addisyn Duncan, Emerysn Dabe, Devin Dabe and Aria Duncan; one niece, Tressa Ellis; one nephew, Shaun Brandenburg and many other family members, friends and loved ones.
Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Helen Kimberly and sister, Pamela (Kimberly) Althammer.
Following cremation, a private service will be held at a later date, in accordance with Mike's wishes.
The Meeker Funeral Home in Russellville is handling the arrangements.
