Michael L. Kingsley, 61, passed away August 28, 2025. He was born in Akron to the late Lloyd and Barbara (Fifer) Kingsley, was a Southeast High School graduate, and worked for many years at Akron Plating. Michael was incredibly hard working and was devoted to taking care of his family. He will be deeply missed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Lloyd. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Tammie; children, Jennifer (Mike) Kinglsey, Barbara (Jeff) Kingsley, Timothy McCune, Jamie (Lance) Deem, James (Michelle) McCune and Mikahlyn (Jeremiah) Kingsley; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brothers and sisters, Thomas (Sissy), Chris, Jimmy, Gene (Naomi), Scott (Linda) Crossman, Chuck, Dennis (Veronica) and Angel; son-in-law, Enrique; brothers-in-law, John (Melissa) McCune, Denny (Tiffany) McCune and Michael Short; sister-in-law, Reatha McCune; special friends, Sabrina and Corwin Hood; and many other loving relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at 1 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St., Akron, OH 44305 with Pastor Matthew Stull officiating. Calling hours will be at the funeral home for two hours prior to the service, from 11 .m. – 1:00 p.m.
