Charlotte Phyllis Pozza (Robinson), 88, passed away August 18, 2025. She was born in Akron April 5, 1937 to the late Harry and Elsie (Johnson) Robinson and was a lifelong resident, before spending the last few months at Altercare Nursing Facility in Wadsworth. She was the loving wife of Layton "Tony" for 69 years and her life was primarily focused on her family, home and neighborhood in North Hill.

Charlotte was known for her famous Mama Pozza Noodles, requested at all family gatherings. She was a lover of pink, roses and chocolate. She enjoyed playing cards, dancing polka, bowling, and watching the Cleveland Browns and Cavaliers. She was a talkative person who did not know a stranger, and her heart was open to everyone. She will be deeply missed.

Charlotte is survived by her loving husband, Layton "Tony"; children, Larry (Estera) Pozza and Sherry Henry; grandchildren, Kevin (James Jasko) Pozza and Brent (fiancee Angela Spilker) Pozza, and Matthew (Kaci) Henry and Rachel (Dylan) Grazier; great-grandson, Dean Grazier; and brother, Bill (Sandie) Cessna and several nieces and nephews. God has called her home to be with the parents she adored, Harry and Elsie Robinson; brothers, Bob Cessna and Ron Alio; and sister, Betty Esber.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at 12 noon at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St., Akron, OH 44305 with Rev. Larry A. Pozza officiating. Calling hours will be at the funeral home for two hours prior to the service, from 10 a.m. – 12 noon. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
