He was very active in the community, and in his younger years, he was a member of the Reedsville Lions Club and the Reedsville Athletic Association. Michael truly loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his children and their spouses: Jennifer (Stephanie) Engles-Klann, Jill (Al) Foth, and Christopher (Sarah) Klann; 5 grandchildren: Erin Harpt (fiance’ Jacob Boldrin), Lucas, Elijah, Oliver, and Ella; great-granddaughters: Julia and her half-sister Delilah; siblings and in-laws: Jacqueline (Jim) Klimaszewski, Penelope (Morey) Weiss, Dan (Mary Beth) Klann, and Pam (Richard) Niehauzer; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law: Earl Ploeckelman, Todd Reschke, and Annita “Ann” Klann; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
