Michael Kokoszka Obituary
Mike went on to earn a bachelor's degree from Central Connecticut State University and a master's degree from University of New Haven. Mike retired from a distinguished career at Pfizer.
Always a social guy, he had may friends in both Connecticut and Florida. He had many loves and interests from traveling, boating and snorkeling - to a deep love of both cats and dogs, particularly his soul dogs, Champ and Buddy. In his youth, he enjoyed weightlifting and playing on various volleyball teams. He played the accordion as a child. He enjoyed frequenting many local restaurants and the Belmont Derby Day.
He is survived by his brother Walter Kokoska; and nephew Edward Kokoszka; nieces, Elizbeth Robbins and Katie Dyson; and great-nephews, Levi Robbins, Bradley and Timothy Dyson.
Calling hours are from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, at Thomas L. Neilan & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Ocean Avenue, New London. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Connecticut Humane Society in Waterford. Please visit www.neilanfuneralhome.com to share condolences and memories.

I worked with Michael at the 95 House and we became good friends...always meant to pay him a visit in Florida but sadly never made a plan...I loved bumping into him here and there around New London/Waterford. Only the good die young.

Oh, so sad to see Mike has passed. He was a great friend when we were at Pfizer. We shared so many laughs n cocktails together. Rest in peace my friend.

My sincere condolences to Eddie and Wally and family and the loss of Mike. It's been awhile since I've seen him, but when I did we had a nice time reminiscing and laughing. He knew me since I was born. What a close family his and mine were. I have nothing but wonderful memories. Hopefully you're playing some ball with my Dad! God bless your soul and thanks for the laughs. My prayers and love are with all of Mike's family. Til we meet again. xoxox
