Michael J. Krafcik

Michael J. Krafcik, age 62 of Parma, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2025. Beloved husband of Jamie (nee Widmer) for 38 years; loving father of Sarah (fiancé, Mike Brown), Peter, and Christine; dear brother of the late Thomas, Gary, Kathleen (John, deceased), and Karen (Don); loyal companion of Sneakers; uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Elizabeth (nee Pelyak).
Mike enjoyed Indians, Cavs, and Buckeyes games and the music of Bruce Springsteen. He loved going to concerts with his wife, Jamie, attending sixteen shows last year alone. Mike cherished his granddogs and tolerated his grandcats. He valued the friendships he developed with his coworkers over the years, leading to lifelong memories. Mike's passion for basketball spanned his lifetime from childhood competition to numerous coaching positions for over 30 years.

Mass of Christian Burial at 10am on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at St. Wendelin Church, 2281 Columbus Rd., Cleveland, OH 44113. Prayer service at 8:45am at the funeral home with procession to church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brook Park, OH. Family will receive friends at BUSCH O'CONNOR FUNERAL HOME, 5904 Ridge Rd., Parma, OH 44129.
