Michael J. Kramer, 58, of Spruce, passed away Friday, October 10, 2025, at home with his family.
Born on November 27, 1966, in Detroit to James and Patricia (McGuire) Kramer, Mike was raised in Troy, MI. He was employed by Nationwide Paper in Madison Heights before relocating to Alcona County. A competitive marksman, Mike loved to shoot and earned the prestigious President’s 100 medal for his skills. He also found joy in farming, spending time outdoors, hunting, and working in forestry.
Mike is survived by his father, Jim Kramer of Lincoln, two brothers, Paul (Ann) Kramer of Lincoln, and Christopher Kramer of Lincoln, two nieces, Alexandra (Braden) Yokom, and Kathleen (Brett) Long, and his great niece and nephews, Charlie and Olivia Yokom and Brady Long. His mother, Patricia Kramer, preceded him in death on March 23, 2024.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the funeral mass at 10:30 AM at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Ossineke. A graveside service will follow at St. Catherine’s Cemetery. Cremation services were handled by Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Hospice of Michigan.
