Michael J. Krome

Michael John Krome age 73 of Morley, died Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at Intersect Healthcare of Cedar Springs. He was born on November 17, 1952 in Belleville, MI at his grandmother’s house during a snowstorm. He was in the United States Navy working on the flight deck during the Vietnam War. Mike had a 30-year career at General Motors. He and Linda always managed to have fun, and one of their adventures was to come to Red Flannel Days every year. During his retirement Mike thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in his recliner with one of his many rescue dogs curled on his lap. Surviving are his loving wife of 32 years, Linda (Hessler); sons, Michael Krome II, Aaron (Krystal) Krome; grandchildren, Anthony, Skylar, Samantha; and his special pets. He was preceded in death by his mother, Roberta Krome in May of 2022 and his stepson, Tony J. Pancake in Aug. of 2022. Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm Friday, February 13 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1325 Woodward Ave., Big Rapids with visitation at 11:00 am.
