Michael Patrick Kump, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at the age of 62.

A lifelong resident of Philadelphia, Michael was a 1981 graduate of Archbishop Ryan High School. While known for his humor and humility, Michael was, above all, a family man. He loved taking his family on vacations to Wildwood, watching and playing sports, and simply sitting down together for a home-cooked meal. Michael's love for his family was evident in his tireless work ethic and unwavering support.

Michael is the beloved husband of Ethel (nee Henry); loving father of Christina Cannizzaro (Joseph) and Michael P. Kump, Jr. (Natalie Keller); and doting Pop-Pop of Vinnie Cannizzaro. He is also survived by his cherished mother, Santa Josephine (nee Marucci); his brother, Steven Kump; aunt, Linda Marucci; sister-in-law, Catherine Henry (Joe Stockert); and nephew, Dillon Stockert.

He was predeceased by his father, Charles M. Kump.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM from the T.J. Fluehr Funeral Home,11010 Knights Road, Philadelphia, PA 19154, followed by his Funeral Service at 11 AM. Interment will be held privately at the request of his family. .
