Michael Bernard Lambert

Michael Bernard Lambert passed away peacefully in Puyallup, WA on October
24, 2024 after a long battle with cancer.
Mike was born on October 11, 1943 in Tacoma, Washington to Nedra & Marvin
Lambert. The eldest of three children, he is survived by his sisters Mary Ann
and Theresa. His family later moved to a small farm in Puyallup, Washington
where Mike grew up. Michael attended All Saints Catholic School and Puyallup
High School, where he graduated from in 1962.
Mike volunteered to join the Army in 1965 as enlisted personnel and was
stationed in Germany where he was trained to be a Tank Crewman and part of
an Armored Tank Battalion. After he returned home from Germany, with an
honorable discharge from the Army, he attended Clover Park Vocational school
in Tacoma, WA graduating with a Commercial Diesel Mechanic Certificate.
Mike worked for many years in the Puyallup School District. He made many
friends in the School District and was always a smiling friendly face to teachers
and students. He eventually retired from the Puyallup School District in 1997.
Mike was a long time resident of Puyallup and later of Yelm, Washington where
he was well known and liked around town. He loved working on and tinkering
with anything mechanical, his home and dogs. Give Mike a pickup truck and a
dog and he was happy.
Mike was a deaply religious and spiritual man all his life. His unwaivering faith
in God saw him through many difficult times in his life. Mike always trusted in
God and we are sure he is finally at peace in His Kingdom.
He will be laid to rest at Tahoma National Cemetary. A generous, kind soul,
beloved brother and friend, rest in peace Michael.
