Brandon John Smith, age 44, of Edgewood, Washington, passed away on August 14, 2025, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, surrounded by his loving family and friends.

Born on June 30, 1981, at the same hospital where he would take his final breath, Brandon was a lifelong Washington native. He was the beloved son of Brad and Shelley Smith and grew up in Puyallup, attending Hilltop Elementary, Edgemont Junior High, and graduating from Puyallup High School.

Brandon married the love of his life, Angie, on September 23, 2006. Together they built a beautiful life filled with laughter, loyalty, and unconditional love. He was a proud and devoted father to daughters Emily, Haley, and Jade, and a doting "Papa" to his treasured grandchildren, Estella Jeanne and Lachlan John Smith.

Brandon worked as a heavy equipment operator for InfraSource Services for 14 years. In the last four years, he joined their Major Projects division-a role he absolutely loved and took great pride in.

Brandon was the kind of man who would move mountains for his family. His world revolved around his wife, children, and grandchildren, but also included his parents, his sister who was his lifelong best friend, and a large circle of extended family and close friends who meant the world to him.

In his youth, Brandon played baseball, soccer, and wrestled. As an adult, his passions included watching Seahawks football, admiring fast cars, and enjoying movie nights-but his favorite moments were always those spent simply being with his family.

Known for his sharp wit and signature sense of humor, Brandon had a unique gift for delivering hilarious one-liners and playful jabs that left everyone smiling.

He is survived by his loving wife Angie, daughters Emily, Haley, and Jade, grandchildren Estella and Lachlan, parents Brad and Shelley Smith, sister Ashley (Andrew), and many extended family members and friends who will carry his memory in their hearts forever.

A celebration of Brandon's life will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the LeMay Family Collection at Marymount, located at 325 152nd St E, Tacoma, WA 98445.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you share a story, a laugh, or a memory of Brandon- because if there was one thing he'd want, it would be to be remembered with a smile.
