Lancaster, Michael Eric, of Pacific, Missouri, was born to John J. and Christy A. (nee Tyler) Lancaster and entered into rest Sunday, August 7, 2022, in Washington, Missouri at the age of 59.
He is preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by, his loving wife of 33 years, Janet Lee (LaChance) Lancaster, his sons, Eric Michael Lancaster and Joshua Douglas LaChance, his grandchildren, Ryan and Rogan, his devoted mother, his sisters, Jocie (Andy) Taylor and Sammie Rueter, his mother-in-law, Laura Sterlin, nieces, nephews, cousins and his friends, Ellen Dubinik, Bree Dubinik, Noah Kreese, Danielle Schmelz, Chris Schmelz, C.J. Schmelz and Fred Wasson.
Mike was interested in tools and enjoyed working on things. He could fix most anything and was always willing to help those that needed it. Many of times he would go outside for one reason and end up under the hood of a neighbor's car. He loved the remodeling projects he was working on. Mike found time with his family and friends to be the most valuable and he loved gardening date nights and going to see tribute to the Beatles with his wife, Janet. Mike was a nature fan and enjoyed watching his hummingbirds. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christy Lancaster for Mike's funeral expenses.
Visitation, Thursday, August 25, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Funeral Ceremony, Friday, August 26, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. doors opening at 9:00 a.m. both held at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons, 4830 Lemay Ferry Road (63129). Interment St. Paul Churchyard.
