Michael Fay Lane, beloved father, successful businessman, and cherished friend, passed away on March 25, 2024, at the age of 69. Born on January 25, 1955, Michael leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and passion for life.
Michael, son of Dorothy Louis Young and Robert Frederick Lane, was a loving brother to Christine, Vicky, William, and David Lane. Devoted father to his children Michelle Rose Lane, Alexandra Dorothea Lane, and John Robert Lane. He was a pillar of strength and support, always there with a smile and a strong pat on the back of reassurance and words of wisdom. His love for his family knew no bounds, and he took immense pride in watching his children grow and succeed.
Professionally, Michael excelled as a businessman, known for his determination, sharp intellect, and leadership skills. He built a successful career that earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and peers.
Michael's life was marked by passion for sports and music. He enjoyed playing tennis and pickleball, guitar, and riding his bike or quad. His entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to his business partners was evident throughout his career.
Above all, Michael cherished the moments spent creating memories with his family and friends. His humor and unwavering support endeared him to all who knew him.
Michael will be deeply missed by his three children, his family, friends, business partners and colleagues and all who were fortunate to have crossed paths with him. His legacy of love, kindness and perseverance will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
Forever in our hearts, Michael will be remembered for his boundless generosity, neverending support and guidance, and the love he shared with everyone around him. We love you Dad.
