Michael T. Lesher, age 70 of Monroe, passed away Friday, October 3, 2025 in his home. Born August 28, 1955 in Petersburg, MI, Mike was the son of the late Holly and Arbutis (Shrewsbury) Lesher. He graduated from Deerfield High School in 1973 and married Barbara J. McKenzie on January 1, 1977 in Monroe. For most of Mike's life, he was hired to do remodeling or repair work in the manufactured home industry. Mike loved his grandchildren, was a Bigfoot enthusiast, and was meticulous in his yardwork. In his personal time he enjoyed deer hunting and fishing. Mike is survived by his wife Barb; four daughters: April (Michelle) McKenzie-Creech, Kimberly (James) Knott, Lisa (Jeffrey) Kane, and Amy Lesher; six siblings: Ed Lusher, Leonard (Sheri) Conley, Wanda Brinkley, Kay Lesher, Eva (James) Cousino, and Larry (Karen) Lesher; eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and another soon to arrive. In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Delilah Rose-Ann, and nine siblings: John Lesher, Fred Lesher, Holly Lesher, Jr., James Lee Conley, Donny Ray Conley, Brenda Conley-Hurley, Peggy Lusher-Greaves, Judy Lusher-Benns, and Mary Lusher-Hess. Bacarella Funeral Home is assisting the family with cremation arrangements. A Celebration of Life has been arranged at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Wednesday, Oct. 8th. Visiting hours will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. with eulogies beginning at 5 p.m. All are welcome.
