Michael "Mike" David Liles passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025, at his residence. A graveside service will be Friday, March 21, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Cedar Ridge Cemetery, Greene Settlement Road, Gray, Georgia. A visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Gray Memorial Chapel from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Rev. Greg Thompson will officiate.
Mike was born in Macon, Georgia on March 8, 1968, to the late Osburne David Liles and Betty Bloodworth Liles. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Julie Ann Liles.
Mike was employed by Overhead Door Company of Macon for twenty-five years. He enjoyed fresh water and saltwater fishing, was an avid University of Georgia fan and Atlanta Braves fan. He enjoyed the outdoors and trips to the mountains. Mike was a devoted father and grandfather who was kind-hearted, funny, and selfless. His sense of humor, passionate work ethic and sincere nature will stand as a comfort to those who loved him most.
He is survived by his sons, Matt Benton (Kelsy), Josh Owens (Molly), sister, Pam Wammock (Brad), grandchildren, McKenzie Nicole Benton, Raelynn Benton, nephews, Justin and Ryan Wammock.
The family is accepting flowers, or you may make a donation to your favorite charity in Mike's name.
