Michael Lowe, 58, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 5, 2026 at his home in
Soddy Daisy, TN, after a courageous 3 ½ year battle with renal cancer; having family by his side.
He was born in
Birmingham, AL to Donnie and Brenda Lowe in February 1967. He graduated from Brookwood High School and later the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He was a logistics professional and worked for a few companies during his career, ending up with his favorite, PlayCore, in
Chattanooga, TN in 2022. Mike loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He was extremely proud of both his sons. Mike was also a friend and inspiration to many people in his life, having close ties that have lasted through the years. In February 2025, he was re-baptized and surrendered his life to faith in God's plan for him. His generous spirit and warm, funny, creative personality will be greatly missed.
Mike is preceded in death by his grandparents, Archie Baggett and Virginia Baggett Floyd, Step-Grandfather Joe Floyd, and Grady and Jean Lowe, Uncles, Chris Baggett, Dennis Herring, Hugh Howton and Randy Lowe.
He is survived by his wife, Frances, sons, James and Christopher, parents, Donnie and Brenda Lowe, brother, Brian Lowe, aunts, Regina Rodriguez (Frank), Kathy Herring, Diane Howton and Sandy Baggett, as well as many cousins and extended family members.
The family wishes to thank the staff at both Tennessee Oncology and Hearth Hospice for their outstanding care and compassion for Mike, as well as his family, through this difficult journey.

The family will receive friends and loved ones from 12:00 till 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at the funeral home. A Celebration of Life will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m.
