MICHAEL “MIKEY” SCOTT LOYD
Michael “Mikey” Scott Loyd, 60, Columbia, MO, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born December 3, 1963, the son of the late James “Jimmie” Loyd and Sharon “Sherry” (McKee) Loyd. On October 16, 1993, he was united in marriage to Sherry (Reams) Loyd.
In addition to his wife Sherry of 30 years, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one son Cameron Loyd of Columbia, MO; his mother Sherry Loyd of Hallsville, MO; two brothers Rick Loyd and his wife Ramona of Melrose, MN and Neal Loyd and his wife Lori of Columbia, MO; one sister Tracy Duncan and her husband Rob of Hallsville, MO; his niece and nephews Jenny, Justin and Josh and his wife Paige; two great nieces Evie and Khloie; other relatives and many dear friends.
Mike worked as a custom auto upholsterer for See’s Auto Trim and did custom work from his home. He loved fishing, hunting, sporting clays, drag racing, and watching his son play baseball. Mike was always working and loved spending time with his friends and family.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO. Interment will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Centralia, MO. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO.
