It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mike Lynch, who departed peacefully at Bayshore Hospital. A lifelong resident of Keansburg, Mike's journey took him to upstate New York before returning to the embrace of his hometown.
In his personal life, Mike found joy in life's simple pleasures. He was a steadfast friend, always ready to extend a helping hand. His true passion lay in carpentry; if it was broken, Mike had the uncanny ability to mend it. He reveled in the camaraderie of friends, especially when gathered around a pool table. To all who knew him, his arrival was always heralded with joyful shouts of "It's Bandanna Mike!"
Mike is preceded in death by both of his parents. He leaves behind his cherished significant other, Mary Dressler, as well as two sisters from upstate New York, Rose Davidson (David Davidson) and Donna Altschuh (Rick Williams). Also mourning his loss is his brother Dennis Lynch of upstate New York.
He is survived by his three children: his son, Michael Lynch (Maryann Lynch) of North Carolina, and his two daughters, Salina Lynch of Toms River and Fawn Lynch (Jamie Dressler) of North Carolina. Mike also leaves a lasting legacy in Mary's children, whom he loved and cared for as his own. They include Mary's son, David Dressler of North Carolina, and her daughters, Melissa Buchanan (Dennis Buchanan) of Keansburg, Davanna Dressler of North Carolina, and Tammi Szeles of North Carolina. Additionally, Patricia Queen of New Jersey mourns the loss of this cherished figure.
Mike will forever be held in the hearts of his adoring grandchildren, who looked up to him with profound affection.
In remembrance, let us not only recall Mike for his deeds but for the essence of the man he was-a beacon of kindness, radiating love to all fortunate enough to know him. His memory will endure as a source of inspiration for us all.
Rest in Peace, Mike Lynch.
