Michael Mabe Obituary

Michael was born May 28, 1958 in Sparta, Tennessee. He worked several years for Minnear Logging and then at Thomas Industries. In his spare time, he enjoyed being a shade tree mechanic. Michael is preceded in death by his father Elbert Hoover Mabe; mother Hazel Bernice Young; sisters Lillian Bain and Judy Parsons; brother Wesley Mabe.
Surviving family members include his five sisters: Jackie (Roy) Brady, Sandy Barnes, Janice Mabe, Helen Young and Tammy (Gary) Young
Brother: Keith Mabe
Step-children: Jason Redmond and Kayla Emerton
A host of nieces and nephews also survive
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Friday, October 31, 2025 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Taylors Providence Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11:00am Friday at Hunter Funeral Home. Caleb Bryant will officiate.
Roy Brady, Jr., Stacy Brady, Roy Brady, Sr., Adam Young, Jeffery Young and Brandon Bain will serve the family as pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to Hunter Funeral Home, PO BOX 90, Sparta, TN 38583 to help the Mabe family with funeral expenses.
