Michael David Mack ("Mike"), age 44 of Oxford, NJ, died on Saturday, March 29th. Michael was born on June 4, 1980 to parents Dawn and Michael Mack in Morristown, New Jersey.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Michael Mack, and his brother-in-law, Ryan Brennan.
Michael was a train engineer and plumber by trade and served as a volunteer fireman for many years. He served as the Chief of the Oxford Volunteer Fire Department from 2017-2020 and was actively involved in Department activities up until his passing. He also served as a member of Randolph Fire Company #4 from 2002-2009 where he held the rank of Lieutenant.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Leann (Brennan) Mack and their three children: Trevor (15), Julianne (12) and Garrett (6). Michael was a loving and devoted father and husband. He enjoyed making fun memories with his family and was a huge supporter of all of their activities. He could always be seen smiling and laughing whenever he was with his family.
Michael is also survived by his mother, Dawn Mack, his grandparents, Richard and Jane (Milleli) Mack, his parents-in-law Robert and Donna (Stager) Brennan, his uncle Richard Mack, his aunt Cindy (Mack) Nini, three brothers: John Mack, Richard ('RJ') Mack, and Tony Mack; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Vincent and Alison (Brennan) Mancuso; his cousins, Dylan and Justin Nini, and his nieces and nephews: Gianna, Benjamin and Francesca Mancuso; and Ryan and Jackson Mack.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 3rd from 4pm-8pm at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ. Service at Cochran Funeral Home followed by Cemetery Service will take place on Friday, April 4th at 10:30am, starting at Cochran, concluding at Union Cemetery (Mountain Avenue, Hackettstown, NJ). Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to the GoFundMe Page organized by Oxford Fire House to help support Mike's family (https://gofund.me/d3191c8d).
