It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Michael J. (Bruce) Marino on June 27, 2025. Michael was born to Gennaro and Eugenia (Noeling) Marino along with his twin brother, William, on September 24, 1955, in Philadelphia, PA.
Growing up in Williamstown, NJ, he attended St. Mary's grade school and Williamstown High School. An avid runner and track enthusiast, Michael attended Louisiana State University on an athletic scholarship. He returned to Williamstown to begin working at Kimble Glass.
Michael met the love of his life, Gail Caterina, while employed at Kimble's as a carpenter. After marrying in 1985, they welcomed their daughter Natalie Rose and son Nicholas Gennaro.
Michael had a passion for fishing, camping, and enjoyed fine wine and bourbon. He was a talented woodworker, using his skills to help family, friends, and neighbors. His rescued beagle companions, Scout and Sophie, will miss his endless treats.
He will forever be missed by his wife, Gail (Caterina) Marino; daughter Natalie (Marino) Stangle (Jordan); son, Nicholas Marino; and his first grandbaby, Ellie Rose Stangle; brothers Jerry Marino (Peggy), Vince Marino, John King-Marino (Cheryl), Robert Marino (Georgette), and Dave Marino (Sue); sisters Carolyn Marino (Craig), Mary Kauffman (John); and sister-in-law Xiomara Marino; brothers-in-law, Kenny Caterina and Jim Caterina (Janet) He is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews. Michael was predeceased by his parents Jean and Jerry Marino, in-laws Rose and Lloyd Caterina; twin brother Willie Marino; sister-in-law Debra Marino, and niece Vanessa Sedalis.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to South Jersey Regional Animal Shelter or the CU Maurice River.
A funeral home visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3rd from 9:30am to 11:30am at Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ. A funeral mass will be held at 12pm from Saint Padre Pio Parish - Church Of Our Lady Of Pompeii, 4680 Dante Avenue, Vineland. Final disposition will be at the convenience of the family.

Gail, and the rest of the Marino family,
I am so sorry for your loss. As a former neighbor of many years, (who grew up in Williamstown), I finally became accustomed to calling Bruce by his given name of Mike. It was a struggle but I finally got it down.
I share this little Irish quote in hopes that you can find some solace from it...
"Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a memory no one can steal."
Prayers for strength and comfort now and in the future.
Best wishes,
Sue Milam Gaffney

Mike you will be missed. I will miss my talks with you about your family and the love you had for them. I also remember how you would smoke all of those would be young distance runners that thought they could beat you. You were the Man! Legendary! I will miss you Buddy!
